Parent Partnership

Here at Brownlow Fold we endeavour to nurture and grow strong partnerships with our families and the school community. Working together helps us to improve outcomes for all of our children, both at home and at school.

Such a partnership requires you as parents and carers to:

  • Support the school’s aims and mission statement.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and deepen their understanding of the community around them to promote tolerance and respect for everyone.
  • Ensure your child attends school regularly and on time and notify us of any reason for absence.
  • Keep us informed of anything at home that might cause a change in the behaviour of your child.
  • Support extra-curricular activities such as homework, concerts, sports days & parents’ meetings.

We as a school will:

  • Keep you informed about school activities.
  • Encourage your children to always do their very best, supporting them each step of the way.
  • Provide a rich, diverse and challenging curriculum for your child to help them to learn and grow.
  • Contact you if there is a problem with attendance, punctuality or other concern.
  • Share your child’s achievements and targets and what you can do at home to support them.
  • Send home curricular information and reports.
  • Set appropriate homework.
  • Arrange parent/ carer consultations and meetings during which progress will be discussed.
